Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
